MIA SMITH

Mia Smith is a Black, multi-media artist who specializes in creative writing, animation, filmmaking, and sound design. By utilizing 3D animation and captivating sound, she aims to explore the world around her. She creates worlds that are captivating but surreal. In 2024, she held an exhibition titled “Kepler”, in which the animation and space intended to create a new society in which citizens wore robotic masks to hide their identities and conformed to the government to create the ideal society. Later that year, she won the best sound design at the Southeastern student film festival.
